Christian Education/Sunday School/Youth Group

 In the United Methodist Church, we believe that Christian education is essential to learning about God and developing a strong spiritual life. We believe that God is the creator of all life and that he wants to be in relationship with us.

Here at Oswego FUMC offer Sunday School during Worship Service and Youth Group later that evening for the older kids to learn more about faith and religion.

 Sunday School

We welcome all elementary age children, K-6th grade, to join us during Worship Service.

We have fun playing games and doing activities, all while discovering what the Bible has to teach us about being a person of faith.

Nursery-for children ages preschool and under. There are two (different each week) people that volunteer in the nursery to five the moms and dads the worship time they deserve.

  The Youth Group meets every Sunday from 6:30 – 8 pm, for grades 7th-12th at our church.

We attend youth retreats and get involved in our community by learning how to become faithful servants. We’ve raised money for Haiti by participating in “The Thirty Hour Famine”; we serve lunch at the Salvation Army and have a great time serving others! We are excited for the upcoming year and the opportunities that the Lord has in store for us… If you are a youth in grades 7 to 12 in the Oswego area, come and join us to learn more about faith and religion!
