Our Worship Services are open in person. For those that cannot attend in person we are offering our service Livestreaming on Facebook-Click the button below.
Our sanctuary has a glorious pipe organ, instruments of all kinds. This service has all the elements one would expect from a traditional Methodist Church, but don’t be fooled by the term “traditional”, our praise band offers a nice blend of older hymns and more modern songs in a way that will have you singing with joy. Come and experience what it’s like to be part of the Oswego First Family!

Laity Sunday celebrates the ministry of all Christians as they love God and neighbor. As God’s people grow in grace to become “all-love” disciples in community, we gather with others and connect all to God’s saving love in Jesus Christ. So, on Laity Sunday (October 20, 2024), we continue to lift up God’s call to all who follow the way of Jesus and lead others to him – specifically as we consider what it means to cherish/protect what has been entrusted to us: our witness to grace at work in every life.L
This year, on All Saints Sunday, I invite you to remember your loved ones who have passed away between November 6th, 2023, and November 3rd, 2024. We would love to include your family member, friend, or anyone you would like us to honor and pray for together. Please contact the church office at oswegofirstumc@gmail.com if you have loved ones you'd like to remember with us on All Saints Sunday. If you wish, you may also send a photo of them by October 28th.
The Quilt Show is being held this year at the First United Methodist Church of Oswego
located at 7111 State Route 104 W, Oswego, NY 13126. Mark your calendars for
Saturday, October 19th from 10:00 am—3:00 pm, free admission...vendors...silent auction. Tables are available for you to sell your crafts. They are $20. If you are interested in a having a table at the show, contact Debbie Hough at (315) 342-4895.
We also need everyone to donate to the silent auction. Any small piece of furniture, cool
kitchen gadget, or anything that would fetch bids to raise money for the local Cancer
Services Program. Thanks
